What Happens After You Buy A Gaming PC?

So you get your new gaming PC delivered to you and you're so excited you unpack it, stick it on your desk and plug it in and you are up and running.

Theoretically.

Well that's the plan, but let's be honest, it's never that simple, is it?  There are updates. Configuration. Downloads, removing bloatware and so much more.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves a little bit and we will come back to this part. What happens between clicking that big pay now button and the delivery?

So in our case this is a pretty simple process.

Currently if your choice is the Rebel One or Rebel Drive then the process is simple.

We take the pre-built system out of the box, run all the updates the system needs, run stress tests to make sure that your system is working as it was when we put it back in its box waiting for purchase. Once these tests are done we pack this back up and ship it directly to you!

If for instance you order a PC we don't have in stock at that moment the process is just as simple, order the parts, build the system, run our stress tests to make sure the system is working as it should be, install our list of software and updates, then pack it up and ship it to you!

Sounds simple right? That's because we have organised our processes to make sure that it is.

We have developed our process to make sure that we do the hard work to make sure that the process is simple and easy to understand on your end.

A lot of the things we have seen that we don’t like from purchases we have made over the years taught us what we wanted to avoid doing.

The process on our end isn't anything revolutionary, we will happily admit that. Where we choose to be different is in the constant testing and the software side.

We run stress tests and benchmarks on every system we build. We do this to make sure not just that the system works, but that you get the performance you expect from a system you've paid for.

The software side of things is something that has driven us crazy for a long time when you buy a system. So many systems come with things that you just don't need and will simply never use!

So we’ve limited our choices to the things we think most of our customers would use. Things such as Steam, RGB Control, and Discord are things that we use daily and we see used by so many gamers out there, and this is why we don't add anything else in! The main thing here is no bloatware, or any crap you don't need!

Some might wonder about the lack of third-party antivirus software. Windows already comes with Microsoft Defender built in, and for most people that's all they'll ever need. Defender has improved enormously over the years, and we'd rather leave you with the protection already built into Windows than install another piece of software you might not want.

For us, the goal is to keep things simple. We did that with our product line, and we've taken exactly the same approach to the software we install.

This means our process is fast and simple, because at the heart of our business is you.

We don't want our customers getting faulty kit, but just as importantly, we want you to get your system as soon as possible so you can enjoy PC gaming!

Welcome to the rebellion.

Is future proofing actually possible or are we just lying to ourselves?
